|Margaret Farrell Bruno|
Margaret Farrell Bruno lives and paints on the Massachusetts South Shore. Being a native of the area, she grew up surrounded by the splendid coastline and luscious cranberry bogs which have inspired her pastel landscapes.
Margaret's vibrant style is influenced by her sensitivity to the use of color, light and composition. Melding the ideals of Realism and Impressionism, her bold pastels respond to the energy and emotion of her subject matter.
Margaret was educated at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and launched a three-pronged career as a fine artist, portraitist and illustrator. She has exhibited her work extensively and won several awards. Margaret is also a member of several art societies, including a signature member of the Pastel Society of America. Her landscapes are included in the permanent collection of The Ocean Spray Corporation, Perini Corporation and New England Met Life, along with other public and private collections.
